i have been loking at the surefire IR filters. it looks like a god combo to have a flashlight and IR but without the extra weight of two lights on the gun.
but i wonder how well these filters work with a Gen 1 tube, both long range and CQB? does they emit any visible light? or it is better to purchase a dedicated IR flashlight?
